BJP Intend 21 Seats in BTC

16th June, Guwahati: Political parties has already started their preparation for Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded 26 candidates among the total 40 seats in the upcoming polls.

Till now, BJP has not made any formal announcement on alliance with any party for the BTC elections. Several district committees of BJP have expressed their credence over gaining 21 seats in the upcoming elections.

The BJP district committees of four districts of Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD) are confident of gaining the single largest majority in BTC polls.
