The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday has accepted the recommendation of the National Expert Group on vaccine administration for Covid 19.
People who have been infected by Covid 19 will have to wait for three months after recovery.
Those who have been tested for Covid positive after the first dose of the vaccine should wait for at least three months before taking the second dose.
The Health and Family Welfare Ministry also stated that Covid patients who have been treated with Plasma Therapy should also defer from taking the vaccine for three months.

Apart from increasing the gap between the two doses of Covishield vaccines to 12 to 16 weeks, the expert group has also recommended that those who are getting the infection now should defer their vaccination. The Centre cleared the Covishield proposal earlier. On Wednesday, the rest of the proposals were also accepted.
