Soon cab drivers not to work under Ola and Uber

The All Guwahati Cab Driver’s Union has decided not to work under Ola and Uber from August 1. The cab driver’s body has taken this decision in the interests of the cab drivers in the city who have not received their incentives. The administration of Ola and Uber have not yet listed and fulfilled these demands of the cab drivers.
The press statement was published to clarify that no government official or Ola-Uber authorities have consulted with the All Guwahati Cabin Drivers Union, and no discussions have been held with either of them.
On Sunday, the All Guwahati Cab Driver’s Union plans to hold a massive protest against the two giant car rental operators, Ola and Uber. The cab drivers have also urged the Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma to pay heed to the unemployed cab drivers of Guwahati city.
