Himanta Biswa Sarma visits Ulubari Cremation, Workers to Receive Vaccine

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday night visited the Ulubari cremation ground and met the bereaving family members.

“Unfortunate that it is there are those who are losing their near & dear ones.
To ensure that those who leave for heavenly abode get the dignity that they deserve, I visited Ulubari Smasan (cremation ground) in Guwahati & met the bereaving family members
My prayers & condolences.” Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Twitted.

Sharing a video on Twitter, the state minister wrote:
“How much I share the grief & pain of each family in Assam who lost a loved one. I stand by each one of you, now & forever.
My deepest reverence to the departed souls. May your blessings remain on us all.

The state Health Minister also informed that the people working at the cremation ground will be given the Covid-19 vaccine from Thursday.
This decision came after Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Ulubari cremation ground in Guwahati.
The vaccination will be given to the people working at Ulubari Smasan Ghat, Bhootnath Smasan Ghat, and Athgaon Kabrastan considering them as COVID warriors.

The vaccination drive will start from Thursday at Bhootnath Cremation ground.
