Poachers Kill One-Horned Rhino in Kaziranga National Park

Reports say that the horn of the rhino was missing. The carcass was recovered near the forest camp in the Kohora range of the park late Tuesday.

The carcass of a one-horned rhino was recovered near the forest camp in the Kohora range of the Kaziranga National park late Tuesday.

Reports say that the horn of the rhino was cut off and taken away by poachers.

“The rhino was killed and its horn was taken away by the poachers three-four days back,” a forest official said adding that this is the first rhino poaching incident of 2021
