Pijush Hazarika Takes Stock of Construction of Embankment and Levees

State Minister for Water Resource Pijush Hazarika on Tuesday visited the Kuruwa, Kirinbari, and Garukhuti areas.

The Minister was accompanied by HMLA Paramananda Rajbangshi, Additional Chief Secretary Syedain Abbasi, and Divisional Officers of the Water Resources Department.
The team inspected the construction of embankments and levees along the Brahmaputra in the area.
Water Resource Minister Pijush Hazarika also gave necessary directions to complete all the necessary work at the earliest.

Taking to Twitter the minister informed;
“I visited Kuruwa, Kirinbari and Garukhuti today, along with HMLA Paramananda Rajbangshi, Add. Chief Secy. Syedain Abbasi and the divisional officers of the Water Resources Deptt. to inspect the construction of embankments and levees along the Brahmaputra. #floodfreeassam,”
