Bodo Students union express concern on HSLC and HS marks evaluation

All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has expressed concern over the reports placed before the Education Department and state government on the marks evaluation process prepared by two high empowered committees for HSLC/HSSLC examinations under the SEBA and AHSEC.

Addressing the media persons ABSU said, “the student’s union has appeal and demand to review the decision of appearing another examination for those aspiring for government jobs.

Adding more said, “We have been eyeing for equal status. There should not be a separate mark sheet/certificate for continuing higher studies and applying for jobs”

ABSU leaders also demanded the use of Bodo language in the recruitment examination under Assam Judicial Services as Bodo language is now Associate Official Language in Assam and recognized in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
