The flood situation in the state is getting worst in the last few days, 70 percent of the area in Kaziranga National Park has been flooded on Monday.
As per the KNP officials, out of a total of 223 camps in the parking area, some 125 have already been inundated by floodwaters. The water level at Pasighat, Numaligarh, Nimatighat, Dhansirimukh & Tezpur is still above the danger level.

A total of four animals have died due to flood already.
