Around 25 Thousand passengers to reach Assam in next 3 days

Guwahati: An estimate of 20-25 thousand people are likely to enter Assam in the next 3 days via trains. According to various sources, 5 trains from Kerala and 2 trains from Karnataka has already left their station and started the journey. Trains from different states also commenced their journey.

The Rajdhani Express and Brahmaputra Mail from Delhi, the three Lokmanya Tilak Expresses from Maharastra has started their journey to Assam. All the trains are likely to reach Assam on 14th, 15th and 16th of June. It is estimated that each train will carry around 1300-1400 passengers.

The State Government has already given orders to officials to look into proper quarantine accommodations for all the train passengers.
