PUBG YouTuber Paras Singh Arrested, Brought to Arunachal Pradesh

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Arunachal Police has brought YouTuber Paras Singh to Itanagar on Thursday night.

The three-member SIT team, led by Inspector Techi Vijay brought YouTuber Paras Singh to Itanagar after successfully getting a transit remand.
The YouTuber was arrested on Tuesday by Punjab Police on grounds of making controversial comments and racial slur against Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering and inciting hatred towards Arunachal Pradesh.
SIT SP Rohit Rajbir Singh informed that Paras would first be interrogated by the SIT, and then produced before the court on Saturday.
A case under Section 124A/ 153A / 505(2) IPC has been registered against Paras Singh. Moreover, multiple FIRs have also been lodged in Arunachal Pradesh against the YouTuber.

The YouTuber who goes by the name “Paras Official” on his YouTube channel, in a video posted on Sunday, termed Congress MLA Ninong Ering a “non-Indian”. He also stated that “Arunachal Pradesh is a part of China”.
His racial slur and indecent comments have caused huge outrage in Arunachal Pradesh as well as other parts of India.

However, after Paras Singh, two more PUBG Mobile YouTubers called out racial remarks towards MLA Ninong Ering and Arunachal Pradesh.
Inder Preet and Shivamm Raghav were caught giving racial comments against the Arunachal Pradesh MLA.
These players are pretty influential and their YouTube channels, ‘GtxPreet’ and ‘420 Gaming’ have 1.79 million and 113K subscribers respectively. However, no actions have been taken against these two so-called “Influential YouTubers”.
