Assam Police Recovers Stolen Vehicles from Meghalaya; Three Arrested

A team of Assam Police led by Dy SP (HQ) Goalpara and SI Sumit Talukdar on Thursday night conducted searches at various places under the Rajabala Outpost and Phulbari Police Station areas, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya.

During the search operation by Assam Police, one stolen motorcycle and one Bolero pickup vehicle were recovered.
Along with the stolen vehicles, three people were also apprehended. The three apprehended are –
• Noor Alam (he collected stolen vehicles from Assam and used them to sell it to various persons) S/O – Kabur Ali
Namabila, Rajabala , Phulbari PS, West Garo Hills Dist, Meghalaya
• Rashidur Mandal (accomplice of Noor Alam and bought stolen Bolero Pick-up vehicle) S/O – Abdus Salam Phersiakandi, Rajabala
Phulbari PS, West Garo Hills Dist, Meghalaya
• Rahmat Miya (he bought stolen Motorcycle from Noor Alam and gang)
S/O – Khalil Miya, Phulbagan, Phulbari PS, West Garo Hills Dist, Meghalaya.
