Tinsukia District Police apprehended another accused involved in the grenade blast in Digboi Tingrai Bazaar grenade blast.
The second accused has been identified as Ranjit Changmai.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, Assam Police arrested Hiren Gogoi.
Both the detainee hails from Lakhipathar.
Tinsukia police have also managed to seize the black pulsar bike used in the grenade blast. According to security Agencies, Hiren Gogoi was earlier involved in acts like extortions. Hiren Gogoi has been taken to Tinsukia for further interrogation.
Two people were killed and two others injured in a grenade blast in the market area of Tingrai under Digboi Police station in Tinsukia on Friday. The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Sanjit Singh and 22-year-old Surajit Talukdar, both residents of Tingrai Area.

Earlier on May 15, Tinsukia Police announced a cash prize of Rs. Two lakh to anyone who could provide concrete information about the suspected miscreants.
